  • 1994: Frank G Wells, President and Chief Operating Officer of The Walt Disney Company Died in Helicopter Accident

  • 1927: “Alices Auto Race” (from the Alice Comedies) is Released
  • 1954: Retired US Naval Admiral Joe Fowler hired as construction supervisor for Disneyland. He was inducted as a Disney Legend on October 18, 1990
  • 1956: ABC Airs the Disneyland TV Episode “Where Do the Stories Come From?”
  • 1960: Ub Iwerks Awarded Academy Award
